Touching Earth, Growing People

Top Barn Trust enables and empowers individuals and organisations from many walks of life, to support, restore and heal those who are experiencing challenges in their life.

At our Top Barn site dreams and visions from 50 years ago are being realised through the charities and community enterprise programmes who enable and empower individuals and organisations from many walks of life to support, restore and heal those who are experiencing challenges in their lives.

In Africa, we have forged strong links with individuals and projects working amongst some of the poorest people, particularly in Burundi.

As part of the Trust and independent of the community enterprise programmes, we also run a Christian ministry that encourages and builds up those who would like to know more about a living faith. From this the values of love, hope, respect and generosity flow through everything we do.

An Evening for the Farming Community

Join us for a relaxed, fireside-chat style evening on 5th February, bringing together farmers and agri-professionals from across the local community. This event is all about coming together to share best practice, swap ideas, and talk openly about growth, innovation, and the future of farming.

We’ll be joined by two highly experienced local speakers, each with deep knowledge across all things agriculture. This is a low-key, informal event with good conversation, honest discussion, and the chance to connect with others who understand the challenges and opportunities of farming today.

Drinks and beef brisket rolls will be provided, and you’re encouraged to bring along any questions, thoughts, or topics you’d like to explore.

Tickets are limited, so we recommend securing your spot early.

Many of the programmes above are looking for volunteers to help support their work, as it enables them to broaden their reach and support more people. Please visit their website and get in touch with them to find out more.

Still have questions?

To find out how to support or get involved with specific projects, please visit their individual websites, but for questions or information about Top Barn Trust, please do get in touch.

Having farmed Top Barn Farm, just north of Worcester, for many years, the Harper family created Top Barn Trust in 2007 as a way to feed back into the local community where about 40 acres of land at Top Barn Farm have been dedicated to the community enterprise programmes.

The programmes running at Top Barn are designed to build community, assist people of all ages and encourage learning and personal growth through practical skills, farming and nature-based activities. The programmes are run autonomously with their own governance, but are strongly aligned with the Trust’s own values, with community and care at their heart.
